Occupational Therapists
General Description
Upon referral, assesses students in group settings and as individuals to determine occupational therapy needs. Following assessment, develops therapy plans that include goals and objectives. Keeps records and documentation of individual therapy sessions. Follows report writing procedures for evaluations and progress reports for long and short-term clients. Works with community agencies that provide services to students. Provides in service training to staff and conducts parent education workshops. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary evaluation teams as appropriate.
Educational and Experience Requirements
A Masters Degree and Arizona Occupational Therapist Certification are required. The ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Salary Schedule
Salary Range: $52,765 - $59,965
